About
The divine is everywhere even in a grain of sand
Caspar David Friedrich
I am a self-taught artist working primarily in pastels. I’m drawn to landscapes, cultural landmarks, and places that hold deep personal and historical significance. My work explores the balance between stillness and movement, solitude and warmth—capturing not just a scene, but a sense of presence.
Many of my early paintings were created as gifts for family and friends, each carrying its own story. Now, I am sharing my work more widely, offering pieces that invite reflection and celebrate the beauty of quiet moments. Whether a windswept hillside, a temple at dusk, or a countryside path, my paintings aim to preserve a feeling—a fleeting moment that deserves to be remembered.
I live in Oxfordshire with my wife and young son, whose curiosity and wonder often inspire me. My work has found homes with collectors who connect with both its visual depth and the stories behind each piece. Whether you're looking for an original painting, a commission of a place special to you, or a work that speaks to your sense of belonging, I would love to collaborate with you.
